The month of May will be recognized as 'Older Americans Month' in DeWitt County.

Members of the DeWitt County's RSVP program were recognized at Thursday's meeting for the work they do throughout the County and Melonie Tilley read a proclomation making the month of May Older Americans Month in DeWitt County.

As roll was being called to approve the proclomation, there was a humerous moment among the older members of the DeWitt County Board.
