Reds Beat Cubs For 10,000th Franchise Win

The Reds batted around in a four-run first inning and cruised to a 9-4 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.  Drew Stubbs went 3-for-5 with three RBI as Cincinnati posted the 10-thousandth win in franchise history.  The Cubs, Giants, Dodgers, Braves and Cardinals are the only other teams to reach that plateau.  Homer Bailey allowed four runs, but just one earned in seven innings for the win.  Chris Volstad gave up six runs in five frames to take the loss.  Bryan LaHair had two hits and an RBI for the Cubs, who have dropped six straight to fall to 3-and-11 on the season.
