The City of Lincoln is looking at having a balanced budget for Fiscal Year 2012 and is hopeful FY13 can be the same.

Like most communities deal with, unexpected costs arose this year for in Lincoln, but Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder says, despite those, FY12 is looking like it could be a balanced budget. Mayor Snyder credits his department heads throughout the city for keeping expenses low. He adds revenues from the state have been flat the past few years, forcing the city to keep spending in check.
