The Clinton Lady Maroons defeated Tolono Unity 6-1 at home on Tuesday.  Tolono's lone run came in the second inning when a batter was walked, stole second and third base and scored on an errant pick off attempt as she was leading off third base.

The Lady Maroons would score all the runs they would need in the bottom half of the second when they sent nine batters to the plate and scored 4 runs.

Offensively the Lady Maroons were led by Haley Ginger who went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.Emily Kroeger, Haley Toohill, and Hanna Long also went 2 for 4 and Megan Tool was 3 for 3.

Bailey Walker picked up the win pitching her third no hitter in a week, stiking out 11 and allowing no hits.

The Lady Maroons will be in action again Wednesday as they travel to Macon for a make up game with Meridian.
