Members of the Responsible Budget Coalition say Governor Quinn's plan to cut two-point-seven-billion dollars from Medicaid is immoral and irresponsible.  William McNairy says slashing the program will leave millions without healthcare, which will cost more in the long run.

Members of the Coalition say lawmakers should reject the plan and find ways to increase revenues instead.  For example, the group supports Quinn's proposal to raise the cigarette tax, calling it a step in the right direction because it will bring about 675-million dollars.
