Maroons Fall To St. T

Decatur St. Teresa took advantage of seven Clinton Maroons errors to propel them to an 11-4 Okaw Valley Conference victory Thursday at Clinton High School in what was a make up game from a Wednesday rain out.

Marshall Sprague went the distance on the mound for the Maroons surrendering all 11 runs, however only five were earned runs He struck out two and walked four. Sprague is now 3-3 on the season.

Sprague led the Maroons offensively with a 2-3 day including a triple and an RBI. Steven Evans was 1-2 with an RBI double and Josh Merrick added a double as well.

Clinton is 12-10 overall and 3-4 in Okaw play.

Decatur St. Teresa is now 20-3 overall and 6-1 in the Okaw Valley.
