St. Louis used an eight-run third inning to pummel the Brewers, 13-1.  Jon Jay and Skip Schumaker each finished with three RBI while Matt Holliday and Matt Carpenter chipped in with two each.  Not to be overshadowed by the offense, Jake Westbrook delivered a seven-run performance in which he allowed just one run while striking out five.  The Cardinals have won two straight.  Yovani Gallardo allowed eight runs in two innings to suffer his second loss of the season for Milwaukee.  The Brewers have lost two straight and three-of-five.
