A Chevrolet Corvette will pace the Indianapolis 500 for a record-extending 11th time.  Officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway made the announcement on Tuesday.  The car to pace the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" is a 2013 Corvette ZR1.  According to General Motors, it is the most powerful production car to serve as the pace car.  The first Corvette to pace the Indy 500's field was in 1978.
