>>Cardinals Open Series With Braves

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Cardinals are back home tonight as they open a three-game set with the Atlanta Braves at Busch Stadium.  Jaime [[ HIGH-may ]] Garcia opposes Mike Minor in the series opener.  The Cards are coming off a three-game sweep at Arizona and have won four straight overall.

>>Cardinals To Retire La Russa's Number

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Cardinals will honor former manager Tony La Russa tonight.  The team will retire La Russa's number-10 jersey in a ceremony before tonight's game against the Braves.  The 67-year-old retired shortly after winning the World Series last October, ending a 16-year run in St. Louis.

>>Cubs Clash With Brew Crew

(Milwaukee, WI)  --  The Chicago Cubs head to Miller Park this evening to kick off a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers.  Matt Garza will toe the rubber opposite Randy Wolf in the opener.  The Northsiders took two-of-three from the Atlanta Braves in their last series to improve to 13-and-18 on the season.

>>White Sox Host Royals

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago White Sox open up a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals this evening at The Cell.  Gavin Floyd gets the nod against Felipe Paulino in the opener.  The Southsiders are coming off a four-game split with the Cleveland Indians to sit at 15-and-17 on the season.
