Schroede-Lein says the exhibit doesn't ignore the wounds soldiers endured during the Civil War. There is a section complete with artifacts on some of the wounds suffered. Some of the unique items on display include a Civil War stretcher and a door that was used as a surgical table in a field hospital in Tennessee.
