Clinton Farmers Market Seeking Vendors

Are you a farmer, gardener, or artist interested in selling your produce or wares at the Clinton Farmer's Market?

Elizabeth Burns with the Clinton Area Farmers and Artisans Market says becoming a vendor at the Saturday market is as easy as showing up to the Market. There is a $10 per day fee associated with being a part of the Market and all the produce or crafts you sell must be locally produced.

While it is not required, there are some perks to being a part of the Farmers Market on a weekly basis. Burns says every fifth Saturday you attend the market it is free. If vendors are interested in setting up at Clinton's largest event of the year, The Apple and Pork Festival, you only have to attend one market prior the September event. Burns also notes, non-profit groups setting up are free.

The Market kicked off a couple weeks ago, but Burns says it's not too late to become a vendor. The Market runs from 8 am until noon each Saturday morning until October.
