Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 2:05 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, revealed that a vehicle driven by Raymond Toohill, 41, Wapella, was northbound on Oak Street coming from Main Street when Toohill lost control and struck a parked Ford Mustang. No injuries were reported. Toohill was issued citations for Failure To Give Information After Striking Unattended Vehicle and Careless Operation Of An ATV.

Brent Shoemaker, 40, Heyworth, was issued citations for Failure To Reduce Speed, Failure To Wear Seat Belt and Improper Lane Usage/Shoulder. Shoemaker was issued a notice to appear and was released.

David Droke, 21, Owaneco was arrested on a DeWitt County warrant charging him with failure to appear. Being unable to post the necessary bond, Droke remains lodged in the DeWitt County jail pending a court appearance.

Kimberly Brimberry, 37, Bloomington was arrested and charged with Arson and Reckless Damage To Property. Being unable to post the necessary bond, Brimberry remains lodged in the DeWitt County jail pending a court appearance.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL FOUND GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
