With backup Steve Clevenger already on the disabled list with a rib cage injury, Welington Castillo takes over behind the plate. Soto is batting just .161 with three home runs and six RBI.

(Los Angeles, CA) -- St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Lance Berkman is back on the disabled list after suffering a knee injury during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Berkman, who was on the 15-day DL from April 19th through May 12th with a strained left calf, was hurt while stretching to make a catch at first base on a routine ground ball hit to shortstop Rafael Furcal. The veteran was helped off the field and was initially diagnosed with a right knee strain.
