Democrats have picked a top aide to ex-Cook County Board President Todd Stroger to challenge state Representative Derrick Smith.  Lance Tyson will mount a third party campaign against Smith, who refused to get off the Democratic ticket after being indicted.  Smith is accused of accepting a seven-thousand-dollars bribe.  He was arrested in March just before the state primary.  Smith says he's innocent.
