Illinoisans Drinking Less Beer

A new report indicates people in Illinois are drinking less beer.  Bill Olson, with the Associated Beer Distributors in Illinois, says consumption was down in 2011, but he wants to clear up a report by another media outlet that hard liquor advertisements may be one reason for the dip in sales.

The Beer Institute in Washington, D.C. reports each beer drinker in Illinois consumed 56-six packs in 2007 but by the end of 2011, they were down to only 53-packs per year.
