July is "Senior Celebration Month" at the Illinois Products Farmers' Market in Springfield.
Health screenings, musical entertainment, senior discounts and "Illinois Products Bingo" will be featured at the market beginning Thursday.
The event is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Springfield Clinic and AARP.
Those 60 and older may register for the senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. July 19 will be "Illinois Products Bingo" and open to all participants.
