Cubs Hold Off Mets

Anthony Rizzo went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer as the Cubs held off the Mets, 8-7, in the opener of a three-game set.  Reed Johnson and John Baker popped solo shots for Chicago, which held leads of 7-2 and 8-3.  Travis Wood went six-plus innings to improve to 4-and-3.  Lucas Duda and Jordany Valdespin hit solo homers for the Mets.  Johan Santana was lit up for seven runs and 13 hits in only four-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 6-and-5.
