Governor Quinn shoots down reports that the sale of Tamms prison is in direct competition with the sale of Thomson prison.

Quinn proposed selling Thomson several years ago but the deal never went through. Now Tamms is up for 165-million dollars. Some Congressmen want Quinn to reduce the sale price but Quinn says he won't take any less than that. The facility now holds Illinois' toughest criminals. They'll be moved into other prisons by the end of the year. Thomson prison is already empty.
