Congressman Davis adds both large corporations and small businesses will benefit from a new tax credit when they hire veterans.

Governor Quinn signed a bill which gives employers up to five thousand dollars for hiring the post 9-11 vets, who face a 30-percent unemployment rate nationwide. Officials say this is just the first step toward improving the lives of veterans. The new law goes into effect immediately.
