The high school is adding more rooms to its facility to complete a two phase update. The added classrooms and teacher's work rooms are undergoing finishing touches right now. According to Superintendent Kristin Kendrick, the plan is to start moving teachers into their new rooms at the end of the month.
Kendrick says she noticed a positive response to the updated science rooms that were completed during 2010 and was excited to finish the other rooms. She says its good to help improve the atmosphere for both the teachers and the students.
Kendrick says its updates like this that help the district expand and becoming ready for larger class sizes of the future. The updates also included moving the middle school into the old high school, which gave them access to labs.
