>>Bulls Ink Hinrich

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Kirk Hinrich.  Terms were not released, but the "Sun-Times" reported in early July that it is a two-year contract worth approximately $6-million.  Hinrich spent the first seven years of his career with the Bulls.  He averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 assists in 48 games, including 31 starts, last season for the Atlanta Hawks.  The 31-year-old has averaged 12.5 points and 5.4 assists in his career with the Bulls, Wizards and Hawks.

>>Nash Heading To Big Apple

(New York, NY)  --  Rick Nash is heading to the Big Apple.  The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded Nash to the New York Rangers in exchange for Artem Anisimov, Brandon Dubinsky, Tim Erixson and a first-round draft pick.  The 28-year-old has spent his entire career with Columbus since being selected first overall in the 2002 Entry Draft.  He had 30 goals and 29 assists for the Jackets last season.

>>Raiders Deal WR Murphy To Panthers

(Oakland, CA)  --  The Oakland Raiders have traded wide receiver Louis Murphy to the Carolina Panthers for an undisclosed conditional draft pick.  Murphy was slowed by sports hernia surgery last year and made just 15 catches for 241 yards.  In 2010, Murphy led the Raiders' receivers with 41 catches for 609 yards and two touchdowns.  The Florida product caught 90 passes for nearly 14-hundred yards and six touchdowns in three seasons overall with Oakland.
