Clinton High School Renovations Continue To Progress

Construction continues to plug along at Clinton High School as remodels and renovations take place throughout the building.

 width=The most significant upgrades are happening in the high school's commons area. Superintendent of Clinton Schools Dr. Jeff Holmes is excited about the changes happening there. He explains basically the entire place has been gutted and now the remodel begins.

 width=Some major changes are also happening in the gym. Dr. Holmes says there will now be a two color paint system, along with some insulation which should bring the echo of the PA system down.

The districts plans to have the gym floor replaced are being put off for a year. Dr. Holmes explains though, the company will keep the price the same as what they have to do the work this year. Dr. Holmes says he is very pleased with the company the school brought in to work with them for the gym floor.

The high school library is being renovated with new carpet, lighting, and a new ceiling. Furniture will arrive for the new library by early August for a more comfortable environment. These renovations are targeted to be complete by August 10.
