(Urbana, IL) -- The bust of an Illinois icon is back where it belongs. University of Illinois iron workers spent parts of yesterday re-installing a bust of Abraham Lincoln on a marble staircase outside Lincoln Hall's ornate theater. The "News -Gazette" says the bust was removed from the theater for a year while crews finished a 58-million-dollar restoration project. For about seven-thousand-dollars the bust of "Honest Abe" was restored to remove any dings, nicks and something experts call "bronze disease."
