NBA: Bulls Sign Mohammed; Three Team Deal Done

The Chicago Bulls have signed free agent center Nazr Mohammed.  The 14-year NBA veteran played for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. He appeared in 63 games, averaging 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.  Mohammed is a 35-year-old Chicago native who's also played for Charlotte, Detroit, San Antonio, New York, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Since being picked by Utah in the 1998 NBA Draft, he's been on eight playoff teams, including the 2005 NBA Champion Spurs.  He's averaged 6.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in 834 career games.  The Bulls didn't disclose terms of the contract Friday.

The  Phoenix Suns,  New Orleans Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed
on  a multi-player  trade that will send forward Wes Johnson from Minnesota to
Phoenix  and center Robin Lopez and forward Hakim Warrick from the Suns to New
Orleans. The swap also sends retiring center Brad Miller, and his $5.1 million
expiring  contract, and  guard  Jerome Dyson  from the  Hornets  to the  Suns.
Phoenix  also gets  a future first-round pick from Minnesota, while the Wolves
pick up a pair of second-round picks (2013 and 2016) from New Orleans.
