State Senate candidate Randy Frese says Senator John Sullivan's TV commercials are misleading the citizens of Western Illinois.
According to state records, Sullivan's pay has increased from 66-thousand-389 dollars in 2006 to 82-thousand -775 in 2011. Frese says voting to fund his pay raise is the same thing as voting for the pay raise. Sullivan's camp says an increase resulted when he was appointed to a leadership position. Sullivan's 60-second TV spot was a response to a third party ad taken out by the "For the Good of Illinois" PAC.
