REPUBLICAN STATE LAWMAKERS ARE URGING GOVERNOR PAT QUINN’S OFFICE TO SPEED UP IMPLEMENTATION OF A MAJOR MEDICAID REFORM INITIATIVE.

HOUSE MINORITY LEADER TOM CROSS SAYS THE ONE REFORM THAT EVERYONE SEEMED TO AGREE ON BUT HAS YET TO HAPPEN IS CHECKING TO SEE IF THOSE ON MEDICAID…ARE ACTUALLY ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE BENEFITS. HE SAYS ANYONE NOT MEETING CERTAIN CRITERIA SHOULD BE KICKED OFF THE MEDICAID ROLLS.
