Donald Builta, 70, Clinton, was arrested and charged with DUI/BAC 0.08. Builta posted the necessary bond and was released.

 

Miranda Lowry, 20, Farmer City, was arrested and charged with Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by Minor. Lowry posted the necessary bond and was released.

 

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 1750 p.m. on Friday, September 28th, revealed that a vehicle driven by Carley Weikle, 20, Maroa, was traveling on State Route 54, just east of Green Valley Road, when she drifted off the roadway to the north. Weikel overcorrected causing her to enter the eastbound traffic lane. Weikel overcorrected again going down the ditch/embankment on the north side of 54. The vehicle spun 90 degrees causing it to face south and struck a tree. Weikel was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle and was released.

 

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 1240 a.m. on Saturday, September 29th, revealed that a vehicle driven by Casey Glaub, 20, Lovington, was traveling on State Route 48, just south of State Route 54, and lost control of her vehicle. Glaub left the roadway and entered the ditch on the east side of IL Route 48 and ramped Cumberland Road. Major damage to the front of the vehicle occurred. Glaub was issued Citations for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While License Suspended and Improper Lane Usage and transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

 

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL FOUND GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
