Clinton Chamber's Haunted House Opens Tonight

The biggest fundraiser of the year kicks off tonight for the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Clinton Chamber's "Terror on Washington" Street kicks off tonight and runs each weekend in October. Marian Brisard, Executive Director of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce explains last year they brought in around 5-thousand people, which was down, but it still ends up being a profitable event.

The Haunted House has been a huge success in recent years and Brisard says it would not be possible without the help of her volunteers. She explains they have a passion for haunted houses and volunteerism and she greatly appreciates their efforts.

Each year the Chamber tries to change things up in various rooms throughout the house. Brisard says it is too expensive to change each room every year, but she is excited about the changes they've made for this year's house.
