Rams Shut Down Undefeated Cardinals; Bears At Jacksonville; Jennings Honored

(St. Louis, MO)  --  Sam Bradford passed for 141 yards and two touchdowns as the Rams battered the previously-undefeated Cardinals, 17-3, on "Thursday Night Football."  Lance Kendricks and Chris Givens had the TD grabs for the Rams, who improved to 3-and-2.  The St. Louis defense recorded nine sacks, three of which were by Robert Quinn.  Kevin Kolb was 28-of-50 for 289 yards for Arizona, which dropped to 4-and-1.  Larry Fitzgerald had eight catches for 92 yards in the loss.

(Jacksonville, FL)  --  The Chicago Bears travel to Florida this weekend to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Field.  The Bears are seeking their second straight road win and third straight victory overall.  Chicago picked off Tony Romo five times, returning two for scores, in a 34-18 rout of Dallas on "Monday Night Football."  The Bears are tied atop the NFC North with Minnesota at 3-and-1.  The Jags are 1-and-3 after a 27-10 home loss to Cincinnati in Week Four.  A week after rumbling for 177 yards and a touchdown, Maurice Jones-Drew was held to just 38 yards on 13 carries.  Second-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert has five touchdown passes and just one interception this season.

>>Bears' Jennings Named NFC Defensive Player Of The Month

(New York, NY)  --   Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings has been named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Month for September.  Jennings led the league with four interceptions and registered a pick in three of the Bears' four games.  He is part of a defensive unit that led the NFL with 14 takeaways and 11 interceptions.
