>>Niners Hold Off Seahawks

(San Francisco, CA)  --  Frank Gore rushed for 131 yards on 16 carries as the 49ers dropped the Seahawks, 13-6, to take over first place in the NFC West.  Gore also led the team with five receptions and 51 yards.  Alex Smith tossed for 140 yards, a score and an interception for San Francisco, which is now 5-and-2.  Delanie Walker hauled in the touchdown from Smith.  Russell Wilson threw for 122 yards and a pick on 9-of-23 passing.  Marshawn Lynch rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries for Seattle, which dropped to 4-and-3.

>>Ducks Dismantle Devils

(Tempe, AZ)  --  Second-ranked Oregon scored 43 points in less than the first 19 minutes of the game en route to a 43-21 win over 24th-ranked Arizona State.  Kenjon Barner scampered for 143 yards and three touchdowns to help the Ducks improve to 7-and-0.  Marcus Mariota ran for 135 yards and a score while also passing for 46 yards and a TD in the laugher.  Taylor Kelly threw a touchdown pass to Kevin Ozier 49 seconds into the game to give ASU a 7-0 lead.  Kelly and Michael Eubank each had two intereceptions as the Sun Devils dropped to 5-and-2.
