Maroa-Forsyth Enters Class 1A of Playoffs Since 80s

width=The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans football team will compete in Class 1A of the IHSA football playoffs for the first time since the 1980s.

The Trojans made their way through the regular season with a record of 8-1. Head Coach of the Trojans, Josh Jostes says this team entering Class 1A has a lot to do with ADM reshuffling. He says this stay in 1A should be temporary.

Coach Jostes says there are a lot of distractions that go along with being a Maroa-Forsyth football player. He says he's proud of his team, and doesn't feel they have been effected by those distractions.

Maroa-Forsyth returned just three offensive starters from their semi-final team last year. Coach Jostes says it's taken some time for his team to get things together, but they are starting to get things together at the right time.
