>>Ernie Hays Dies At 77

(Maryland Heights, MO) -- Busch Stadium organist Ernie Hayes died Wednesday at his home in Maryland Heights. Hays had been the organist for St. Louis home games since 1971. The beloved figure at Cardinals games was 77 years old.

>>Wong To Represent Cards In Rising Stars Game

(Scottsdale, AZ) -- Second baseman Kolten Wong will represent the Cardinals in the Arizona Fall League's annual Rising Stars Game. It will take place tomorrow night at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona. Wong is hitting .321 with one homer and 10 RBI in the AFL. Sam Freeman was also selected to represent the Cards, but is sidelined with tendinitis in his left biceps.

(Undated) -- Baseball's unrestricted free agents will have the chance to listen to offers come midnight Saturday morning. The exclusive rights for teams to talk to their free agents comes to an end at 11:59 p.m. on Friday. Offers must be made to the team's free agents by 5 p.m. Among those without a contract are Texas slugger Josh Hamilton, Angels pitcher Zack Greinke [[ GRAIN-kee ]] and Atlanta speedster Michael Bourn.
