Round two of the IHSA Football State playoffs get underway tonight and continue tomorrow as several area teams look to continue their march towards Champaign.

The Monticello Sages will have themselves one of their biggest tests of the season tomorrow as they play host to an undefeated Williamsville team. Williamsville's defense features a frontline ofthree 3-year starters, and a defense that allowed just 14 points the entire regular season. The Sages are coming off a 45-26 win at Nokomis last week. The 19-point final margin was not an indicator of how close this game was. At one point, Monticello held a three TD lead that Nokomis was able to trim to 31-26 with just over 4 minutes left in the game. Two late touchdowns, one off a turnover led the Sages to a late surge to survive and move on to another Saturday afternoon.
