>>Schedule Gets Rough For Bears

The Chicago Bears breezed through the first half of their schedule. Now, it's time to buckle down.

The Bears are in good shape at the moment leading the NFC North at 7-1, but the schedule is about to take a tougher turn.

Houston visits Sunday night in a matchup of 2 of the league's best teams, and then comes a game at San Francisco next week.

To that, coach Lovie Smith says, bring it on.

He says the Bears "embrace this national stage" and insists they haven't peaked.

They sure looked good dismantling Tennessee, scoring their most points since 1980 on their way to a 51-20 win that saw Charles Tillman force four fumbles.

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears are collecting themselves following Sunday's dominant victory over the Titans in Nashville. Chicago moved to 7-and-1 on the year by blowing away the Titans, 51-20. The Bears will gear up this week for Sunday's cruicial Sunday night battle with the 7-and-1 Houston Texans at Solider Field.

>>Rams Get Back To Work

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams are back to work today in preparation for Sunday's game at San Francisco. St. Louis enjoyed the bye this past weekend following a 45-7 loss to the Patriots in London on October 28th. The Rams expect wide receiever Danny Amendola to return from his shoulder injury this week.

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The Colts have just two more days to prepare for Thursday night's battle against the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Indianapolis moved to 5-and-3 Sunday with a 23-20 win over the Dolphins. The Jags announced yesterday that running back Maurice Jones-Drew would not return from injury in time to play Thursday.

>>Packers Have Bye Week

(Green Bay, WI) -- The Packers have this week off due to their bye. Green Bay has won three in-a-row following a 31-17 home win over on Sunday. The Packers are now 6-and-3 on the season, a game-and-a-half behind NFC North-leading Chicago. Minnesota sits in third place at 5-and-4, while Detroit is last at 4-and-4.

>>Saints Shut Down Eagles

(New Orleans, LA) -- Drew Brees passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns as the Saints shut down the sloppy Eagles, 28-13. Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston had touchdown grabs for the Saints, who improved to 3-and-5. Patrick Robinson returned an interception 99 yards for a score and the Saints' defense had seven sacks in the victory. Michael Vick threw for 272 yards, a touchdown and an interception for Philadelphia, which dropped to 3-and-5. LeSean McCoy rushed for 119 yards, while Desean Jackson had a 77-yard touchdown catch in the loss.
