2014 Race In Illinois Could Be Ugly

Super PACs' play a big role in creating a negative tone within campaigns. They spent five figures on some candidates this time around and that was only on a regional or local office, not a statewide office. Because the Super PACs often outspend individual candidates, they actually have the power to define the election, or the candidate, in the minds of voters.
