(Undated) -- Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina is up for the National League MVP award on Thursday. Molina is up against Giants catcher Buster Posey, Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen, Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun and Padres third baseman Chase Headley for the honor. It will be announced Thursday evening live on MLB Network.

(Undated) -- White Sox manager Robin Ventura is up for the American League Manager of the Year Award. Ventura will go up against Orioles skipper Buck Showalter and A's manager Bob Melvin for the honor. The winner will be announced this evening live on MLB Network.

>>Angels' Trout Named AL Rookie Of The Year

(New York, NY) -- Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is the American League Rookie of the Year. Trout received all 28 first-place votes by the Baseball Writers Association of America. He is the eighth AL winner to be unanimously selected. Trout hit .326 with 30 home runs and 83 runs batted in this season. He beat out Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Cespedes and Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish, who were the other American League finalists.

>>Nationals' Harper Named NL Rookie Of The Year

(New York, NY) -- Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is the National League Rookie of the Year. He received 16-of-28 first-place votes by the Baseball Writers Association of America. Harper hit .270 with 22 home runs and 59 runs batted in this season. He beat out Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Wade Miley by just seven points. Miley received the other twelve first-place votes. Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier finished third.
