November Books, DVD New Releases Available At Warner Library

The month of November sees a lot of new books and movies being released that are highly anticipated.

The Warner Public Library reminds bookworms and movie fanatics they try to have the most popular new releases. Children's Librarian, Paula Lopatik says she has a few new releases they are excited about for the kids. The latest "Diary of a Whimpy Kid" book was released this week. Lopatik adds, for comic book nuts or those older folks that remember the old comics, she recently was able to acquire Volumes 1 and 2 of the old 'Dick Tracy' comics.

For those adults who enjoy a good book, John Grisham has come out with a new novel, 'The Racketeer' which can be picked up at the library. Adult Services Librarian, Bobbi Perryman says there are many other titles along with the new John Grisham novel that can be borrowed as well. Along the same lines as the comic strip, 'Dick Tracy', Perryman adds they also received the complete 'Far Side' comic.

Perryman notes the library also has "The Amazing Spiderman" DVD and will also be getting the movies "Brave" and "The Expendibles 2" when they come out.

To find out what else the library has, you can contact them at 935-5174, or stop in to the library at 310 North Quincy Street. If you cannot find a title you are looking for, their staff can help you find it or get it for you from another library free of charge.
