If you're in the market for a used car, be on the lookout for water damage. Secretary of State Jesse White says shoppers should double check and make sure the car they're interested in wasn't flooded out during Hurricane Sandy.

White says his office will screen title applications from states impacted by the hurricane. Consumers can also check the car history by going to the National Insurance Crime Bureau website. White says reports indicate as many as 250-thousand vehicles may be affected by the flood waters.
