>>Cardinals, Dodgers Make A Deal

(Undated) -- The St. Louis Cardinals have traded utility infielder Skip Schumaker to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for minor league shortstop Jake Lemmerman. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the deal is pending the outcome of a physical. The 32-year-old Schumaker has spent his entire eight-year career in St. Louis and batted .276 with a homer and 28 RBI in 107 games last season. The 23-year-old Lemmerman hit .233 with seven homers and 46 RBI in 116 games for Double-A Chattanooga last year.

>>Indians, Reds And D'backs Make Nine-Player Deal

(Undated) -- The Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds and Arizona Diamondbacks have pulled off a nine-player trade. The Indians receive outfielder Drew Stubbs from Cincinnati and pitchers Trevor Bauer, Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw from Arizona. The Reds get outfielder Shin-Soo Choo, infielder Jason Donald and cash from Cleveland. The D'backs receive shortstop Didi Gregorius, pitcher Tony Sipp and first baseman Lars Anderson from the Tribe. Stubbs hit just .213 with 14 homers and 40 RBI in 136 games last season. Choo batted .283 with 16 homers and 67 RBI in 155 contests last year. Albers went 3-and-1 with a 2.39 ERA in 63 games combined with Boston and Arizona last year.
