State Fair Dates Won't Likely Change

Bliefnick says some of the fair's largest attractions operate on a set circuit schedule, and changing fair dates wouldn't work.

It's now impossible to change the dates for 2013 as the fair has booked Toby Keith as its headlining Grandstand Act. The resolution asked for a potential change five years in the future. Even that, fair organizers say, is unlikely.
