Springfield School District 186 Superintendent Walter Milton wants armed security in all schools. He says Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut had good security measures in place, but it didn't matter.

Milton says it's time to put armed security guards back in District 186 schools. Some guards at high schools and middle schools were in danger of elimination as part of budget cuts, and Milton says it's unclear who would pay for the additional guards.

Currently, the district's high schools and middle schools have armed security on hand and ideas of cutting them have likely been taken off the table.
