People who take regular medications should be sure to have extras on hand. Morris urges people not to use candles because they can fall over and start a fire. He says it's a good idea to keep at least one light switch on so you know when power comes back on. Morris says if everyone's power comes on except your - first, check the fuse box. If that's not the issue, call the company. Ameren is working on upgrading its system, which will minimize outages and help restore power more quickly.
