Pierzynski hit .278 with a career-high 27 home runs and 77 RBI last season with the Chicago White Sox. He spent the last eight seasons with the Pale Hose. Pierzynski is a lifetime .284 hitter with 155 homers and 730 RBI in 15 seasons with the Twins, Giants and White Sox.

The 30-year-old left-hander was 4-and-2 with a 2.88 ERA last season with the Washington Nationals. Gorzelanny is 44-and-45 with a 4.41 ERA in eight seasons overall.
