The Boston Red Sox have acquired closer Joel Hanrahan from the Pittsburgh Pirates in a six-player deal.  The Sox also get infielder Brock Holt in exchange for first baseman/outfielder Jerry Sands, pitchers Mark Melancon and Stolmy Pimentel, and infielder Ivan De Jesus.  Hanrahan posted 82 saves in 94 opportunities after taking over closing duties for Pittsburgh in 2010.  The 31-year-old right-hander is 22-and-17 with 96 saves and a 3.74 ERA in 353 career games with Washington and Pittsburgh.
