Bradley Basketball Player Arrested On Drug Charge

Bradley University head basketball coach Geno Ford says that starting center Will Egolf won't travel with the team for Wednesday night's game at Southern Illinois after Egolf's arrest on drug charges.

Egolf was arrested Monday night and booked into Peoria County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. The jail says he is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday afternoon.

In a statement released on Tuesday by Bradley's athletic department, Ford said the school is in the process of gathering information about Egolf's arrest and would take "appropriate actions" once more is learned about what happened.

Authorities have not provided details about the arrest.
