Ducks Drop Wildcats In Fiesta Bowl

 De'Anthony Thomas returned the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown to help the Oregon Ducks defeat the Kansas State Wildcats, 35-17, in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.  Thomas finished with 15 yards rushing and 60 yards receiving, including a 23-yard catch-and-score in the opening quarter.  Marcus Mariota threw for 166 yards and two TDs for number-four Oregon, which won a BCS Bowl for the second straight year.  He also ran for 62 yards and a score.  The Ducks close the season at 12-and-1.  Collin Klein tossed for 151 yards, a score and a pair of interceptions for Kansas State, which ends the year 11-and-2 with its third straight Bowl loss.  He added 30 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in defeat.
