A federal judge has sentenced a 25-year-old man to more than 19 years in prison after he was caught with child pornography in central Illinois.
U.S. Judge Sue Myerscough on Monday also ordered Anthony Ferguson remain on supervised release for life following his release from prison. Ferguson pleaded guilty in July to using a 5-year-old child to produce child pornography.
Ferguson and his co-defendant, 26-year-old Laura Sigler, were arrested in March while living in a budget hotel in Lincoln. Prosecutors say they were using the child pornography to get money to pay their rent.
Sigler has also pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced in April.
