Former first-overall pick Greg Oden plans on resuming his NBA career in the future. ESPN reports Oden has decided to continue his playing career and multiple teams are interested, including the Miami Heat. According to the report, Oden is not planning to return before the 2013-14 season. Oden is nearly a year removed from his latest knee surgery. He has had two microfracture surgeries on his left knee and one on his right as well as surgery for a fractured kneecap. The seven-foot center has not played in an NBA game since December 5th, 2009. Oden has averaged 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds in 82 career contests since being drafted with the top pick by Portland in 2007.
