>>Blues Upend Predators In Shootout

(Nashville, TN) -- T.J. Oshie [[ OH-shee ]] and Alex Steen each scored in the shootout to send the Blues to a 4-3 victory over the Predators. Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and two assists in regulation for St. Louis while Andy McDonald added a goal and an assist of his own. Alex Pietrangelo [[ pih-TRAN-jell-oh ]] also scored for the Blues, who moved to 2-and-0. St. Louis is back in action tonight against the Blackhawks in Chicago.

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks welcome the Blues to the Madhouse on Madison tonight for their home opener. Chicago has started the season with wins at Los Angeles and Phoenix, putting up 11 goals in the two contests. The Blues are also 2-and-0 this year after beating Detroit on Saturday and winning at Nashville in a shootout last night.

>>Blackhawks Acquire Goalie Karlsson From Flames

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks have traded a seventh-round draft pick to the Flames for goalie Henrik Karlsson. The 29-year-old Karlsson played in 26 games over the past two seasons for Calgary, posting a 5-9-and-8 record. The draft pick was originally owned by Ottawa but acquired in a trade by Chicago.
