Fifth Racing President Announced By Nationals

The president's race at each Washington Nationals game could be more exciting than ever this coming season as the team has announced the identity of a new, fifth running bobblehead president.  The "Washington Post" reports the new figure will be William Howard Taft.  He'll join George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. The fourth inning footraces among the presidential figures are a fan favorite.  Taft was selected in part because he became the first president to throw the first pitch on Opening Day in Washington, DC in 1910.  He's also widely credited with having accidentally created the seventh-inning stretch.  The team will refer to Taft as "Bill" and the "Big Chief," due to his later role as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
